Accomplished physicist Sir Claud Amory has constructed a working formula for one of the most deadly weapons known to man – the Atom Bomb. Hercule Poirot is called in after the formula is stolen and and Sir Claud murdered.

In festive mid-summer mood, the ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society mount another assault on the classics with their stage version of A Christmas Carol. They enthusiastically portray a dizzy array of characters from the Dickens era, engineer some audience participation, all while bravely contending with an intrusive P.A system….not to mention the two original show stopping songs!
